“Quadra – Power Generation” has completed the scheduled maintenance of energy unit No. 1 of 110 MW in capacity at the Orel HPP (heat power plant). The cost of the work was RUB 4.5 m.

The energy engineers repaired the boiler unit, cam control gear of the turbine unit and auxiliary equipment of the energy unit.

Besides, the specialists carried out chemical and hydraulic mechanical cleaning of heat exchange equipment, tested the condition of the metal of the heating surfaces of the boiler, vessels and pipelines of the energy unit.

“Such routine repairs on the equipment of the energy unit are carried out yearly; this is part of the preparation for the heating season. The set of the measures will increase the efficiency and technological reliability of the operation of the energy equipment of the plant, and, consequently, the quality of heat supply to our consumers,” explained Sergey Bobkin, Chief Engineer of the branch.

As part of the summer repair campaign, “Quadra – Power Generation” will repair 3 energy units, 2 hot water boilers and cogeneration plant at the Orel HPP, as well as the energy equipment of the Livny HPP.
