Mayor of Voronezh Vadim Kstenin and Chief Engineer of the branch of PJSC “Quadra – Power Generation” – “Voronezh Generation” Valery Ozhogin have discussed the renovation of the heat and power facilities transferred to the company “Quadra – Power Generation” under the concession agreement in 2019.

During the meeting, the head of the city Vadim Kstenin visited two concession facilities in Leninsky Prospekt: ​​a section of the heating main and boiler plant SVR.

For two years, “Quadra – Power Generation’s” specialists have carried out overhauls of 4 out of 7 boilers at the boiler plant, which allowed to reduce the number of emergency equipment shutdowns by 70%.

The works at the section of the heating main along Leninsky Prospect are in their active phase. Despite the fact that initially no repairs were planned to be held here, the company’s management decided to replace the worn-out section of the heating network, because it was it that caused the emergency shutdown of 60 houses in February.

“Before September 1, our specialists will replace here 140 meters of the dilapidated pipeline with a steel pipe in polymeric-mineral insulation, install new intermediate slabs and restore landscaping at the site,” explained Valery Ozhogin, Chief Engineer of PJSC “Quadra – Power Generation” – “Voronezh Generation.”

The cost of the work on this section of the heating network, according to Ozhogin, will exceed RUB 4.5 m.

“We see that the concessionaire is carrying out large-scale work of relaying heating networks not only along Leninsky Prospekt. These are often the main heating networks, which, if broken in winter, cause enormous inconvenience to the population. It is these problem sections that should be eliminated first of all. Such breaks cause inconvenience not only to residents, but also to the people who work to eliminate them in severe frosts. This is a very hard work,” – said Mayor Vadim Kstenin.

Over the past two years, within the framework of the concession agreement, “Quadra – Power Generation” allocated RUB 903.6 m for renovation of the Voronezh heating grid complex.

Almost a half of this amount – RUB 461 m – was assigned for replacement of the emergency sections of heating mains: the company relayed nearby 48 km of municipal heating networks.

This year, “Quadra – Power Generation” will replace 18 km of dilapidated concession heating networks in total for the amount of RUB 280 m.

* On February 1, PJSC “Quadra – Power Generation” accepted a number of facilities of the property complex of MBSE “Voronezhteploset” for concession. Implementation of the concession agreement started on March 1. The period of the concession agreement is 15 years. The amount of investments for the entire period is RUB 3,650 m.
