Semyon Sazonov, General Director of PJSC «Quadra — Power Generation» and Alexander Gusev, Interim Governor of the Voronezh Region have held a working meeting at HPP-1 (heat power plant). They estimated the readiness of the new GSU-223 MW (gas and steam unit), the construction of which is currently carried out at the plant by the contract entity «Promfinstroy.»
Alexander Gusev assessed positively the pace of implementation of the investment project. «The commitments that „Quadra — Power Generation“ undertakes will surely be fulfilled — judging by the progress the construction is currently performed and by the statements made by the head of the contract entity.»
During the inspection of the construction site, Semyon Sazonov, General Director of PJSC «Quadra — Power Generation» told about the current state of the construction of GSU-223 MW.
«We have reached the final stage of the project and expect to finish the work in December 2018,» Semyon Sazonov, General Director of PJSC «Quadra — Power Generation» said.
Currently, four GTUs (gas turbine units) and four heat recovery boilers have been installed on the foundations. The works to install and center the generators of two steam turbines are held. The installation of a gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) is in the process of completion; tests have been held; further installation of electrical equipment of OS-110 kV (outdoor switchgear) continues.
The foundations for cable and process routes of GSU-223 MW are implemented; poles for cable networks and process pipelines are mounted, as well as general construction works are held for a group of auxiliary buildings and structures. Besides, in-site networks (of water, heat and gas supply) are laid.
The Voronezh HPP renovation project is included in the company’s Investment Program and is carried out as part of the fulfillment of the obligations under the Capacity Supply Agreements (CSAs). The project provides for the construction of a new technological complex on the territory of the existing HPP, which includes the gas steam unit (GSU) of 223 MW in capacity and 180 Gcal/h in thermal performance, main building, IS 110 kV (indoor switchgear), engineering rooms, sectional fan cooling tower, treatment facilities, pipelines, etc. The launch of the unit will improve the reliability of energy supply to the city’s consumers.
